Makdee actor, who was last seen in the
Halo series, produced by Steven Spielberg earlier last year, will now be seen in the Karan Johar directed
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani back home.
In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, the
Masoom actor opened up on working with the two stalwarts in their respective industries. Starting off with Steven Spielberg, Shabana said that at 76, the
Schindler’s List director shows no signs of slowing down and is not the one to rest on his laurels. Citing that he has the enthusiasm and curiosity of a little child, the actor added that the prolific director-producer is always exploring new ideas.
Coming to Karan Johar, the
Arth actor admitted that initially she thought that Karan was this glamorous director, who is always painting the town red with his parties and soirées. However, what took her pleasantly aback was Karan’s dedication to the craft and how committed he was to the filmmaking process.
Shabana Azmi also added that one of the perks of working with Karan Johar was that she was always looking pretty, whether it was on set or post the shoot, with the elaborate makeup and hair.
