The first pitchers of the season were two sisters Yeshoda Karuturi and Rhea Kaurturi, from Bengaluru, who sell puja flowers and incense sticks. The USP of their brand they said is the shelf life of flowers, which stay fresh for 15 days instead of the usual 2-3 days shelf life. As the Sharks were handed over the flowers to check the freshness, Vineeta took a flower, smelled it making a weird face. She reacted saying, “Issh, ooh, This doesn’t smell like genda phool (marigold).” The sisters tell her they are Chrysanthemum (sevanti). Vineeta then smells actual marigold flower and gives approval. They also inform that their packaging is odourless. Peyush also tears the petals to check if they are real flowers.
