eInfochips opens design centre in Chennai, to hire engineers | India News


CHENNAI: eInfochips, a provider of product engineering and digital transformation services, and a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, opened its new design centre in Chennai on Wednesday.
This is the company’s 11th design centre, and it has commenced with 35 engineers and with a target to hire more than 100 engineers in the next six months. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, the company’s other centres are in Bengaluru, Pune, Noida and Indore.
The company is actively looking to hire engineers in the areas of embedded systems, hardware design, silicon design, and digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud and blockchain. It is also open to academic partnerships in the city to help develop the talent ecosystem. Besides getting access to quality talent, the company also expects the Chennai office to offer their teams across India more flexibility and freedom in choosing their work location.
“Our goal is to build a 500-member team in the next few years,” Mangesh Kulkarni, vice-president and general manager-ASIC, eInfochips, said.
The city’s automotive industry infrastructure and electronics manufacturing hardware setup so we plan to focus on those areas but not limited to these areas, he added.
With a 3,000+ engineers team, eInfochips delivers end-to-end product engineering and semiconductor design services, and accelerates time to market for its customers with its expertise in IoT, AI/ML, security, sensors, wireless, cloud, and power. In 2022, eInfochips opened centres across India and globally (Egypt and Mexico) to cater to customer demand and business growth.
