JAMMU: Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday visited the family of martyred teacher Deepak Chand who was killed by terrorists in Srinagar on October 8.
During his visit, the LG expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family for the irreparable loss they suffered. He assured the family members all support from the government. Sinha said, "The administration fully stands with the bereaved family in this hour of tragedy and grief."
Some unknown terrorists had entered Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School in Eidgah locality of Srinagar on Thursday last week, killing principal Supinder Kaur, a Sikh from Beerwah village in Budgam, and her teacher colleague Deepak Chand, a Hindu from Jammu.
